Contresens is the French word meaning, misinterpretation. However, Contresens isn’t just reserved for those things lost in translation, it is lost in translation itself as the word is made up of French words: Contre, meaning “against” and Sens which means “direction”. With menswear being the original starting point of this collection, the end product strayed a bit from the plan. Many of these ultra-feminine pieces were inspired by classic menswear silhouettes; including tuxedos, a white button-down, and jeans. This is my misinterpreted collection.
